Admin blocks – Withdrawal requests in Shopify Admin
Overview
With a Pro or Plus subscription you can use extensions in Shopify Admin:
On the order detail page:
- Block “EU Withdrawal Details” – A card with all withdrawal requests for that order.
- Action “EU Order Withdrawal Action” – A button that takes you to the withdrawal detail page or the dashboard.
On the customer detail page: 3. Block “EU Customer Withdrawal Details” – A card with an overview of all withdrawal requests for that customer (rate, count, table). From there you can open the app or use the order detail page (action button) to go to the detail view.
You can see at a glance whether and which withdrawals exist for an order or customer without opening the app separately.
Requirements
- Pro or Plus subscription.
- App extensions must be installed and deployed (usually done automatically on app install or after deploy by the app provider).
Block “EU Withdrawal Details”
- Where: On the order detail page in Shopify Admin (below order info) as a card.
- Content:
- Table of all withdrawal requests for that order (e.g. status, received date, customer email).
- Withdrawal period information (whether still within period, days left, etc.) with status badges.
- Link to withdrawal details in the app (detail view of a single withdrawal).
This keeps you informed whether an order has already been withdrawn or has multiple partial withdrawals.
Block “EU Customer Withdrawal Details” (customer detail page)
- Where: On the customer detail page in Shopify Admin (not the order detail page) as a card.
- Content:
- Overview of all withdrawal requests for that customer (withdrawal rate, number of withdrawals/orders).
- Table with status, period, etc. for the withdrawals.
- Withdrawal period information with status badges.
- Note: There is no “Show more” button in this card. To go to the dashboard or withdrawal details, open the app directly or use the order detail page for the relevant order and the “EU Order Withdrawal Action” action button.
Action “EU Order Withdrawal Action”
- Where: As an action button on the order detail page (e.g. in the “Actions” area or button bar).
- Function:
- If there are withdrawal requests for that order: Opens the withdrawal detail page in the app or the dashboard with the right filter.
- If there are no withdrawals: May show a message (e.g. “No withdrawal requests for this order”).
One click takes you from the order into the app to process the withdrawal.
If the card or button is missing
- Check that your subscription is Pro or Plus (see Pro and Plus features).
- Open the app once in Admin (e.g. Dashboard) so permissions and extensions load.
- In test or development: Ensure admin extensions are deployed for the correct app version.
